Each year, PROJECT SANTA CLAUS receives special requests from families for particular gift items OR, at times, there is not enough gift items available for certain age groups.

One year, one of the Project Santa Claus volunteers made a custom toy box for a 3-year old boy whose toy box was destroyed when his room was flooded. Another year, volunteers delivered a bed to a boy who had been sleeping on a pile of blankets. When the volunteers left, the child was jumping up and down on the bed with tears coming down because he was so happy.
